Ferguson is seeking a Technical Services Manager to join our Geo & Stormwater team. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to elevate your technical expertise in stormwater management design and permitting. You will serve as the technical lead on complex projects, support product development and testing, and act as a key resource for our sales team from design through installation.

Success in this role requires deep knowledge of civil engineering design and permitting processes, along with a proven ability to solve challenges using engineered products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support for project-specific design and installation challenges.

  • Lead and mentor a team of design engineers.

  • Develop and enhance tools and resources for the design community.

  • Oversee testing and evaluation of existing products.

  • Support the development and launch of new products and solutions.

  • Deliver training and professional development for team members.

  • Contribute to growth initiatives within the Geosynthetics and Stormwater Management team.

  • Represent the team at coordination meetings and industry conferences.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 8–10+ years of experience in stormwater design and permitting.

  • Experience in technical product evaluation, including regulatory compliance and QA/QC, preferred.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.

  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

  • Prior leadership experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) (site visits, conferences and client meetings)

Role reports to the Director of Engineering and Engineered Solutions.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$9,900.00 - $16,133.70

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
