Role Overview
Technical Sales Representatives live and work in their assigned region, championing Our client's products across the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) community. You’ll develop long-term relationships, influence project specifications, and support structural framing solutions from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Specify efficient structural framing systems with architects and engineers
- Conduct lunch-and-learns and product presentations for design and construction professionals
- Develop framing concepts, prepare bids, and negotiate project contracts
- Educate stakeholders on product applicability and align design intent with our client's offerings
- Track and input project leads, bids, activities and KPIs using the company CRM
- Represent our client at industry associations, meetings, and trade shows
- Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of construction industry practices and engineered wood systems
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or Business (Commensurate experience in these fields will be considered)
- Willingness to travel within the territory and engage with the local AEC community or commercial construction sector

Salary: Established representatives earn $100k-$200k+
Work Location: Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in or near the following territory: Orange County
