Summary
Micron is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to support hiring across Information Technology (IT), Smart Manufacturing and AI (SMAI), and Procurement organizations. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to deliver high-quality talent through full-cycle recruiting-from intake through offer-while ensuring an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical and business recruiting expertise, operates with a consulting mindset, and is comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute full-cycle recruiting for IT, SMAI, and Procurement roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand role requirements, talent profiles, and hiring priorities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent platforms to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Conduct candidate screenings to assess technical, functional, and cultural fit.
  • Partner with recruiting coordinators to ensure a smooth and timely interview process.
  • Provide a high-touch, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Track recruiting activity and progress using Micron's applicant tracking system and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing market insights and recruiting best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter supporting IT, technical, or business-critical roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to partner with hiring managers and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience using modern applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for IT, digital, automation, AI, or procurement roles.
  • Background supporting complex, matrixed organizations or large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology-driven companies.
  • Prior experience working in a contract or consulting recruiting capacity.

Additional Information
  • This role is a contract hourly position and does not carry headcount ownership.
  • Location flexibility: Boise, ID, or San Jose, CA.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$85,000.00 - $192,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
