Today’s aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft. It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

We’re seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to help scale the teams designing and building the future of aerospace. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent that keeps our programs on track and our production lines moving.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical, engineering, and production roles — from kickoff meetings to sourcing, assessment, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with aerospace engineering, manufacturing, and program leadership to deeply understand workforce plans, certification requirements, and technical skill needs.
- Source top talent through job boards, professional networks, and targeted outreach across aerospace, defense, and OEM ecosystems.
- Conduct detailed candidate screens, evaluating technical proficiency and cultural alignment.
- Uphold a best-in-class candidate experience, communicating clearly and representing the company’s mission and values throughout the process.
- Maintain and proactively build candidate pipelines for critical and recurring roles, reducing time-to-fill and ensuring business continuity.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, technical career fairs, and recruiting events, positioning us as a top destination for aerospace professionals.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or OEM environments.
- Strong understanding of technical recruiting processes and comfort managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
- Proven ability to source and engage technical talent — engineers, manufacturing specialists, technicians, and program managers.
- Familiarity with aerospace certifications, production environments, or regulated hiring (ITAR, FAA, DoD) is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to balance precision with speed.
- Comfort working in high-growth or early-stage aerospace organizations where priorities shift quickly.
Compensation:
Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $125,000 - $165,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity and years of experience and expertise.

Depeneding on the position you are interviewing for, there may also be a Take Home Exercise as part of the interview proccess. Our assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
