Reli. is a dynamic eCommerce company experiencing rapid year-over-year growth via selling on Amazon (www.amazon.com/reli), Walmart, our own Shopify store, and eBay. We currently service 10,000+ orders daily across our eCommerce marketplaces, with over 1,500,000+ unique customers such as Marvel, Dominos, and Lululemon.

We are seeking a Technical Project & Process Manager - eCommerce Operations to serve as both an execution owner and a systems architect for how cross-functional work operates.

This role is equally responsible for:
  • Delivering medium-scale, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, and
  • Designing, standardizing, and optimizing the operational systems that make execution predictable and scalable

You will not only drive projects to completion, but you will also refine workflows, ownership structures, documentation standards, and governance rhythms that determine how effectively teams execute. This is not a coordination-only or PMO role. It requires strong systems thinking, operational judgment, and the ability to release measurable improvements that reduce friction and increase execution clarity.

Intentional and responsible use of AI tools to accelerate planning, documentation, and analysis is expected, with full accountability for outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

    Project Ownership & Delivery

    • Own cross-functional eCommerce initiatives from planning through launch

    • Translate ambiguity into clear scopes, timelines, dependencies, and risks

    • Surface tradeoffs and capacity constraints early with recommendations

    • Ensure launches are well-communicated and stabilized post-release

    • Maintain disciplined execution hygiene (clear DRIs, decision logs, scope control)

    • Process Architecture & Optimization

      • Audit cross-team workflows to identify bottlenecks, unclear ownership, and rework drivers

      • Design and release standardized execution frameworks, SOPs, and planning templates

      • Define and track measurable process KPIs (cycle time, throughput, rework, escalation frequency, planning accuracy)

      • Drive early adoption and iterative improvement of new processes

      • Strengthen governance rhythms and evolve the operating model as the company scales

      • Communication, Documentation & AI-Enabled Execution

        • Deliver concise, executive-ready status updates and risk summaries

        • Facilitate meetings with clear agendas and documented outcomes

        • Maintain a reliable single source of truth for plans and decisions

        • Use AI tools to increase speed and clarity while maintaining quality, judgment, and ownership

Qualifications & Experience:

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitatively rigorous field

    • 5-8+ years in technical project, program, or operational management roles

    • Proven experience in independently delivering cross-functional initiatives

    • Demonstrated experience redesigning workflows or improving operational systems (not solely timeline management)

    • Strong analytical and systems-thinking ability

    • Clear written and verbal communication skills

    • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

    • Responsible use of AI tools to enhance execution quality

    • Preferred

      • eCommerce experience

      • Technical PM, software, data, or automation background

      • Experience in establishing execution frameworks or operating models

      • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methods

      • PMP or similar certification

Tools & Skills:

    • Project & workflow tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Confluence, etc.)

    • KPI tracking, dashboard interpretation, and bottleneck analysis

    • Documentation and SOP creation

    • AI tools for planning and analysis

    • Strong prioritization, tradeoff analysis, and structured problem-solving

What Success Looks Like:

    Within 3-6 Months

    • Independently managing multiple cross-functional initiatives

    • Delivering measurable process improvements with defined KPIs and documented releases

    • Increasing planning consistency and DRI clarity across teams

    • Reducing cycle time, rework, or execution variance in at least one workflow

    • Lowering leadership intervention through stronger systems and governance

    • Within 9-12 Months

      • Establishing durable execution standards adopted across major initiatives

      • Improving delivery predictability and cross-team coordination

      • Demonstrably reducing execution friction, escalations, and workflow inefficiencies

Comprehensive Benefits:

    • Paid Time Off (Vacation, etc.): 15 Days PTO to Start + 1 additional day per year working at Reli.

    • 10 Paid Holidays in addition to PTO

    • Hybrid Work Schedule

    • Regular Team Happy Hours/Events

    • Employer Matching for 401(k)

    • Life Insurance

    • Health Care (Medical, Vision, Dental) - Blue Shield PPO or HMO Medical Insurance

    • Wellness stipend of $260 per month for mental and physical well-being

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
