About the Role:
This company is looking to bring on a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure projects to lead and deliver critical initiatives that support operational resiliency and modernization.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that offers the chance to step into a pivotal role with high visibility across leadership and the technology organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure-focused projects, including Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system streamlining and migration, and system operational resilience and modernization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather and document detailed project requirements to ensure a comprehensive understanding.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) to track progress, manage risks, and ensure accountability across project teams.
  • Deliver clear, consistent updates to the Technology and Product Officer and key stakeholders through weekly status reports, project dashboards, and other transparent communication channels.
  • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of contracted services.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and incorporate process improvements into future initiatives.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned. 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management with a focus on IT infrastructure (e.g., networking, cloud, security, or systems administration).
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants.
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project methodologies.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification preferred.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing complex technical projects, particularly in IT infrastructure (e.g., networking, cloud, security, systems administration).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term technology planning and short-term execution.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively across distributed teams.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar).
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to escalate and communicate risks effectively to leadership.
  • Applicant must have dedicated, quiet space for working remotely with reliable internet access

Physical Requirements:

  • This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include: 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and using office equipment. 
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
