Technical Project Manager
$60-$65/hr | W2 | 6-month Contract | Hybrid: Dublin, CA

Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with 20+ years’ experience delivering consulting services to global technology leaders in the US is seeking a strong Technical Project Manager to work with our client. 

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects successfully within scope, schedule, and budget. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. The role also requires a strong understanding of solution architecture, engineering development lifecycle, and emerging technologies such as AI to effectively guide delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements, planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, engineering, architecture, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solution design.
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, quality standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in project or program management.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile or hybrid).
  • Good understanding of solution architecture and system integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with engineering development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to AI/automation-driven solutions or data-driven platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in digital transformation, IT, or enterprise system implementations.
  • Familiarity with modern technology platforms and cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience working with AI/ML or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Experience working with global teams and external vendors.

Details of Position

  • $60-$65/hr | W2 | 6-month Consultant Contract
