Job Summary:

Our team is seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager for SCADA Construction, who is eager to become proactive in planning and design review activities. A coordination professional, specializing in SCADA‑related activities, ensuring project teams and contractors align on technical requirements, system integration, and commissioning workflows. Skilled in reviewing engineering documentation, tracking owner deliverables, and resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance with SCADA standards and project specifications. Proficiency with Procore, Smartsheet, and P6 to monitor progress and support seamless communication during commissioning and turnover for PV, BESS, and wind projects.  This position provides a perfect opportunity for a professional looking to expand their experience in SCADA construction, collaborating with various depts of the organization, and contributing to the company's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SCADA SME in maintaining the specifications and standards exhibit documentation for solar, wind, and energy storage projects with internal teams.

  • Establishing and coordinating telecom orders and the IT/OT Owner cabinet FAT processes for new project delivery and implementation.

  • Assist in reviews of new project plant SCADA design stages with the SCADA SME and Operations Technology SCADA group.

  • Coordinating with IT department teams on the IT Owner cabinet specifications for standard new project submittals, and any specialized designs by SCADA SME and OT.

  • Assisting OT network engineering in satisfying the requirements for cold and hot commissioning stages, and handover to OT for SCADA commissioning.

  • Proactive communications with contractors for site readiness, documentation review, and schedule coordination.

  • Supporting the project managers with project integration SOP tracking of SCADA related construction workflow at the substation control house, telecom implementation, IT owner and contractor cabinet installations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with focus on electrical engineering preferred.

  • 3+ years' experience with SCADA in renewable energy or utility-scale projects a plus

  • Knowledge of network communication infrastructure basics helpful

  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as necessary.

  • Clear oral and written communication skills are required.

  • Ability to work closely with team members of diverse backgrounds.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

  • Position will require sitting for long periods of time.

  • Occasionally lifting twenty pounds or more.

  • Moderate travel
