Transcarent’s AI-powered WayFinding, comprehensive Care Experiences – Cancer Care, Surgery Care, Weight – and Pharmacy Benefits offerings combined with Accolade’s health advocacy, expert medical opinion, and primary care, allows us to meet people wherever they are on their health and care journey. Together, more than 20 million people have access to the combined company’s offerings. Employers, health plans, and leading point solutions rely on us to provide trusted information, increase access, and deliver care.

We are looking for teammates to join us in building our company, culture, and Member experience who:

  • Put people first, and make decisions with the Member’s best interests in mind
  • Are active learners, constantly looking to improve and grow
  • Are driven by our mission to measurably improve health and care each day
  • Bring the energy needed to transform health and care, and move and adapt rapidly
  • Are laser focused on delivering results for Members, and proactively problem solving to get there

About this role

Transcarent’s AI and WayFinding team is at the forefront of building our next-generation products, including the WayFinding Care Assistant and AI platform. These solutions are rapidly scaling across multiple systems, teams, and client implementations. We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join this high-visibility team and connect the dots between product, engineering, and implementation. You’ll be the orchestrator who ensures features and integrations ship on time, at quality, and with clear communication across stakeholders. This role is critical in enabling our teams to execute with clarity and precision, while delivering on some of the company’s most strategic initiatives.

What you’ll do

Feature Planning & Execution

  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering to translate product requirements into clear technical scope, milestones, and sequencing.
  • Partner with product, engineering, design to make tactical feature implementation decisions
  • Own and track feature delivery schedules; adjust timelines based on team capacity, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Work alongside the engineering manager to coordinate sprint execution
  • Manage release readiness — dates, documentation, approvals, and communications.
  • Anticipate risks and surface tradeoffs early, helping product and engineering make informed decisions

Cross-Team Integration & Alignment

  • Work closely with multiple Product Managers in the AI product group to align feature workstreams and ensure features are sequenced and delivered cohesively.
  • Act as the liaison between engineering teams to surface and resolve technical dependencies.
  • Drive technical diligence and planning for major integrations involving the AI/WayFinding products, ensuring they are sequenced effectively alongside feature and implementation delivery
  • Maintain clear, shared documentation and updates to stakeholders on scope, delivery details, risks, and milestones — serving as the source of truth on delivery status across product domains.

Client Implementation Support

  • Ensure upcoming client implementations are technically supported — capturing non-standard requirements, sequencing custom work, and aligning timelines with product and implementation teams.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and customer success to coordinate release timing decisions and address client-reported technical issues
  • Support demo environments and technical setup and configuration

What you’ll bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or Engineering Program Manager in a SaaS or platform environment.
  • Proven track record coordinating complex, multi-team technical projects from scope to launch.
  • Strong ability to translate between product requirements and engineering execution.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with competing priorities.
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare, integrations, employer benefits administration, shipping AI / large language model products or a strong interest in AI and LLM products with a desire to grow expertise in this space.
As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:
$104,000$160,000 USD

Total Rewards

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.

Our benefits and perks programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Competitive 401(k) Plan with a generous company match
  • Flexible Time Off/Paid Time Off, 12 paid holidays
  • Protection Plans including Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Supplemental Insurance
  • Mental Health and Wellness benefits

Location

You must be authorized to work in the United States. Depending on the position we may have a preference to a specific location, but are generally open to remote work anywhere in the US.

Transcarent is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. If you are a person with a disability and require assistance during the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don’t apply unless they meet 100% of the job criteria. While we have worked to consolidate the minimum qualifications for each role, we aren’t looking for someone who checks each box on a page; we’re looking for active learners and people who care about disrupting the current health and care with their unique experiences.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
