Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to earn and maintain the trust of business stakeholders. Responsible for developing the technology roadmap for Chewy's Supply Chain business objectives, including gathering detailed business requirements from stakeholders and collaborating with our professionally software engineering teams to deliver solutions in the areas of demand planning, procurement, inventory planning, and transportation, among others.
What You'll Do:

  • Examine existing procedures and business needs in order to streamline and improve Chewy's Supply Chain function.
  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to translate business visions and objectives into actionable, technological initiatives across applications, and analytics.
  • Glean capabilities of the existing supply chain technology stack to advise businesses with the right technical solutions.
  • Serve as the product owner to manage prioritization and backlog of business initiatives, conduct scoping estimates, and act as the primary point of contact for business and engineering teams.
  • Create EPIC's/User Stories for business initiatives and work closely with respective professional scrum masters ensure these are delivered.
  • For each initiative, conduct due diligence and impact analysis using data, process knowledge, and use-cases with a goal to elicit comprehensive requirements across application, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)and analytics layer.
  • Coordinate with professional engineering teams to conduct proof of concept where required to ensure the solution meets the business objective.
  • Translate complex business needs into simple, detailed, and straightforward product/solution requirements with help of process flows, use-cases and clear assumptions.
  • Document concise 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' process flow and articulate changes to user interactions/touchpoints along with system integrations.
  • Understand the impact of supply chain initiatives on Integration/ETL/Data Warehouse/Analytics area and document any cross application/functional impact that should be addressed along with the delivery of initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering teams through the build process and ensure solution delivered meets functional/non-functional/security/usability requirements within agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure UAT (User Acceptance Test) is planned, organized and conducted smoothly.
  • Support business teams during the rollout of initiatives to business functions/users.


What You'll Need:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience in supply chain management, data warehousing & automation, and technology.
  • Full term of experience must involve: supply chain operations & inventory flow, developing supply chain applications and network;
  • Working closely with business and engineering teams to translate business visions and objectives into actionable, technological initiatives across applications and analytics;
  • Coordinating with professional engineering teams to conduct proof of concept where required to ensure the solution meets the business objective;
  • Translating complex business needs to simple, detailed, straightforward product/solution requirements with help of process flows, use-cases and clear assumptions;
  • Experience with enabling a new supply chain facility working closely with 3rd Party Logistics;
  • Advanced SQL querying ability; and
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or similar.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.


The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Pay Range
$112,842-$176,000 USD
