Who we are

At Domino, we build solutions that help the largest, highly regulated organizations adopt AI to accelerate mission-critical use cases. Our platform integrates a streamlined model and app development environment, advanced model, agent, and app hosting  capabilities, and novel governance capabilities providing regulator-ready AI at scale. Our customers — like Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Bristol Myers, UBS, FINRA and the US Navy — are using our software to solve some of the most important challenges in the world, such as developing new medicines, securing our financial markets, or protecting our country. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, NVIDIA, Snowflake and other leading investors, we have been in business for over a decade but are still a small team operating with the spirit of a startup. In the world of AI today, we believe that the future is still being invented — and we want to be the ones building it. For more information, visit www.domino.ai

What we are building

The Quality and Compliance team at Domino helps teams deliver AI software and solutions with the quality, validation, and supporting evidence that enterprise customers need. We are building repeatable ways to bring these requirements into delivery early and make readiness clear across teams.

We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to own quality and validation readiness across complex programs. You will bring Engineering, Product, forward-deployed engineers, and Customer Success together around clear plans and decisions, and use AI and automation to reduce manual work as our programs grow.

What your impact will be

  • Drive quality and validation programs from scoping through readiness review, translating requirements into clear deliverables, owners, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate dependencies across Engineering, Product, FDEs, and Customer Success. Resolve blockers and give teams and leadership a clear view of progress, risks, and decisions needed.
  • Partner with engineering and quality stakeholders to align test coverage, validation evidence, and exception handling. Work with the release owner to incorporate readiness into release planning and decision-making.
  • Build repeatable workflows that surface quality and validation needs earlier, prevent recurring issues, and reduce coordination overhead. Define and improve measures of readiness, delivery predictability, and manual effort.
  • Use AI and automation in everyday program work. Partner with engineers to build and adopt workflows for evidence preparation, readiness checks, and reporting, with clear checks on accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide backup coverage for release managers as needed, coordinating release activities, tracking dependencies, and communicating status to keep releases moving during their absence.
  • Operate as a highly flexible and adaptable program manager across Engineering & Security when needed on specific cross-functional initiatives driven and agreed upon by the VP, Quality & Compliance, CISO, and/or Head of Engineering.

What we look for in this role

  • Experience delivering complex technical programs. Approximately 5–8 years in technical program management or a comparable role, with examples of bringing Engineering, Product, and customer-facing teams together to deliver software or technical solutions. You can explain how you established ownership, resolved dependencies, and kept delivery moving across teams you did not directly manage.
  • A track record of making recurring work more reliable. You have improved a manual or fragmented process involving testing, validation, release readiness, or customer delivery. You can describe what you personally changed, how teams adopted it, and the resulting improvement in delivery time, quality, rework, or manual effort.
  • Experience navigating enterprise software delivery. You have worked through shared platform dependencies, customer-specific requirements, and competing engineering priorities. Experience serving regulated customers in life sciences, financial services, or public sector is preferred; no particular industry background or compliance certification is required.
  • Technical fluency and practical automation skills. You understand software development, automated testing, APIs, integrations, and release workflows well enough to work through implementation tradeoffs with engineers. You have used AI and automation to improve real work and can explain how you checked the outputs and handled failures.
  • Quality and validation judgment. You can translate requirements into clear acceptance criteria, verification activities, and supporting evidence. You are comfortable reviewing sample deliverables with subject matter experts, identifying gaps, and coordinating the work needed to resolve them.
  • Strong workflow and execution skills. You can turn a process into actionable Jira requirements, including fields, statuses, dependencies, and reporting, and partner with engineers and administrators to implement it.
  • Clear communication and customer partnership. You can align internal teams and customer reviewers on deliverables, incorporate feedback, and establish what acceptance requires. You communicate risks early, present practical options, and drive decisions through to completion.
  • Proactive ownership. You address immediate delivery needs while improving the processes behind recurring problems. You can partner with release managers on readiness and provide backup release coordination when needed.

What We Value

  • We value a growth mindset. High-performing creative individuals who dig into problems and see the opportunities for success
  • We believe in individuals who seek truth and speak the truth and can be their whole selves at work
  • We value all of you that believe improving is always possible At Domino Everything is a work in progress – we can do better at everything
  • We emphasize an environment of teaching and learning to equip employees with the tools needed to be successful in their function and the company
  • We strongly believe in the value of growing a diverse team and encourage people of all backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, abilities, and sexual orientations to apply

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
