About the Role

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Supply Chain is responsible for the management of the program information on behalf of the Integrated Supply Chain work package owners. The TPM will support the work package owners with delivering products on schedule and within budget. The TPM will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) to drive the integration and development of the Air Vehicle and monitor overall program progress.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the budget, schedule, and product development plans to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the work package owners to define activities across all supply chain activities: purchasing management, material control, logistics, supplier development, and sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP)
  • Provide and maintain inputs to the integrated master schedule to enable accurate program metrics and visibility
  • Define goals, track deliverables, identify risk, and drive mitigation plans; establish effective tools and dashboards to ensure alignment and accountability across the Supply Chain workflows
  • Assess resource requirements and highlight gaps across various stages for all projects
  • Coordinate with other TPMs to align priorities, summarizing status, and defining risks, mitigations, and opportunities.
  • Manage the project roadmap within the framework of the overall program strategy
  • Partner with the Operations department to organize incoming information and help translate it into a clear, repeatable execution rhythm for the Supply Chain team
  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor key performance indicators across all Supply Chain functions to drive operational visibility, identify performance gaps, and ensure alignment with program cost, schedule, and quality objectives

Who You Are

  • Systems Thinker in the Making: You’re curious about how the pieces fit together — how a design decision ripples through schedule, budget, and outcomes. You ask smart questions, think ahead, and look for ways to connect dots across teams. You’re developing a strong sense of the bigger system and eager to grow into a role that helps keep it all in sync.
  • Ownership Mindset: You take responsibility for your work — tracking details, managing deliverables, and staying on top of commitments. You keep things organized, understand how your area impacts the larger program, and use that awareness to support sound decisions and smooth execution
  • Problem Solver: You don’t wait to be told what’s next. You take initiative, follow through, and look for ways to make progress. When challenges arise, you dig in, ask the right questions, partner with the right experts, and help find solutions that keep things moving forward.

  • Strong Connector & Communicator: You help information flow — coordinating between teams, following up on actions, and ensuring everyone has what they need to deliver. You listen carefully, communicate clearly, and build trust through reliability and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable & Steady: When things shift, you stay composed and flexible. You focus on priorities, learn quickly, and adjust plans without losing momentum. You’re comfortable in a fast-moving environment and see change as an opportunity to learn and improve.

 Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years in technical program/project management role, preferably in the aviation industry
  • A minimum of five (5) years of total experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • Familiarity with procurement and logistics operations in a product development lifecycle
  • Project management experience in complex aircraft development
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Jama, Jira and/or other project management tools

 Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing standard processes
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally, build relationships, and manage conflict
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Demonstrated agility and autonomous decision-making within ambiguous situations
  • Experience with Dassault 3DX and SAP is preferred

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
