Join our team as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) specializing in mobile device lab operations with focus on Quality of Experience (QoE) of audio/video apps on Mobile devices. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless coordination between engineering teams and managing R&D projects focusing on networking and QoE. With a hands-on approach, you'll oversee daily project execution and drive advancements in wireless technologies.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with engineering teams to facilitate project execution and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Track project progress and compile detailed reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and communication.
- Manage R&D projects related to networking and QoE, driving innovation and technology improvements.
- Manage project resources, including engineering staff, lab technicians, subcontractors, and equipment, and allocate tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare and publish detailed technical reports and update to various internal stakeholders
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a R&D lab, including equipment procurement & inventory management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as shipping & facilities, to maintain optimal functionality within the lab.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management, including hands-on experience working within a lab or R&D environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to measure and enhance project performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project resources efficiently, including personnel and equipment.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a technical management capacity.
- Knowledge in networking or QoE metrics, or video mobole applications, with experience in real-world implementation and testing.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols like LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi, along with a deep understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge mobile app QoE validation methodologies and trends, contributing to strategic project direction.
- Past roles as hands-on engineer in networking, infrastructure, mobile apps development/deployment
- Proven track record in overseeing multiple concurrent projects and delivering results on time.
