Lantern is seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Program Manager, Data (TPM).  The TPM will manage Data Platform and Data Engineering programs, leading and driving complex, cross-functional projects and programs within the healthcare data domain. The ideal candidate possesses a proven deep proficiency in Agile and Scrum frameworks, along with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
It is essential to have complete accountability, a strong drive for delivery, effective time management habits, visibility of work through metrics, and a positive attitude while working with some fantastic people.
Location: Remote, USA

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Drive multi-team technical programs spanning healthcare data pipelines, analytics platform development, interoperability frameworks, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Tooling and DevOps Familiarity for JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and Azure DevOps to help track software maturity, release stability, and process bottlenecks.
  • Drive program planning, scope, execution, risk management, and process improvement efforts.
  • Adhere project/programs to healthcare compliance and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Proficient in managing project plans and communicating on impacts at the earliest discovery.
  • Create dashboards or run macro-Excel/tools to produce metrics for stakeholders and executive review.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, ownership, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and govern team documentation of solution, requirements, specifications, and processes.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, vendor engagements, solution analysis, project/program kickoffs, and status meetings.
  • Attend ceremonies as needed to provide stakeholders with informed status updates and to resolve dependencies and risks.
  • Strong understanding of prioritization and technical/product roadmap.
  • Own and manage the release management process.
  • Proficiency in unblocking impediments and providing support for successful implementation.
  • Provide production support for assignments and meeting SLAs.
  • Manage project budgeting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Technology preferred
  • Has over 8 years of proven project management experience with at least 2-3 years of Technical Program Manager.
  • Knowledge of data management is a must. Coding is not required.
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process engineering, and technical documentation development.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, and associated data platform technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and related SDLC concepts.
  • Experience working with JIRA.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete various tasks accurately with high attention to detail and creativity.
  • Display strong written, verbal communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels.
  • PMP certification, preferred.
  • Excellent soft skills to handle stress and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Be Proactive, Self-Driven, Fast-Learner, and Accountable.
