We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Program Director to lead end-to-end technical programs across our Data Center portfolio. This role will own delivery of cross-disciplinary initiatives that unify hardware platforms, software enablement, partner integrations, and data center customer engagements.
As a key leader in Arm's AI transformation, you will define technical program vision and objectives, identify and mitigate technical challenges and delivery risks, align partners and ensure Arm's products and initiatives meet meaningful performance, quality, and product launch expectations. You will develop scalable program execution models that support Arm's strategic pivot into data center scale computing, AI/ML acceleration, and hyperscale customer deployments.

What You'll Do:
Program Leadership & Delivery -
- Lead and run multiple, large-scale data center programs spanning multiple products, systems from concept through production.
- Define program plans, achievements, metrics, resource models, and execution strategies.
- Proactively identify execution risks and dependencies, and design execution plans in partnership with engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Drive accountability for timeline execution, quality control, and project scope across internal teams, customers and vendors.
Technical Strategy & Cross-Functional Influence -
- Serve as a key technical leader across hardware, software, systems engineering, and customer-facing delivery teams.
- Translate complex architecture trade-offs and technical risks into actionable workstreams for diverse engineering and commercial groups.
- Partner with product management and technical leadership to shape product roadmaps based on customer needs, market trends, and internal capability.
Partner Communication & Reporting -
- Provide concise, executive-level status reporting to senior leadership with clear articulation of progress, risks, pivots, and corrective actions.
- Establish cadence for cross-functional reviews, technical risk assessments, and decision checkpoints.
- Represent Arm in strategic customer engagements and ecosystem partnerships relevant to data center compute and infrastructure programs.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement -
- Drive improvements in program processes, tools, and delivery frameworks to scale Arm's ability to efficiently deliver complex initiatives.
- Mentor and develop program managers and project leaders reinforcing standards, risk management, and technical execution excellence.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, technical project management, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of technical program/project management experience with increasing scope and complexity.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional technical programs, preferably in data center, hardware/platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, or critically important systems.
- Experience working in hyperscale cloud, semiconductor IP, server OEM, or infrastructure OEM environments.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, power/cooling), system-level product life cycles, and operational considerations.
- Consistent record of success leading programs that span multiple engineering fields and external partners.
"Nice to Have":
- Technical depth in one or more of the following: server hardware architecture, infrastructure software stack, cloud deployment models, performance optimization, NPI, or product qualification.
- Excellent communication, confident negotiation, and natural leadership skills with the ability to engage productively at all levels.
- Prior experience mentoring program management teams and establishing delivery guidelines.
