Doodle Labs is a fast-growing technology company building high-performance wireless communications for the drone and unmanned systems ecosystem. Our technology enables reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity across airborne and mobile robotic platforms operating in complex environments.

We partner directly with leading drone OEMs, robotics companies, and defense organizations to deliver advanced networking solutions that power the next generation of autonomous systems. Our mission is to make connectivity for autonomous machines as reliable and ubiquitous as the internet itself.

About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in translating Doodle Labs’ advanced wireless networking technology into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with both highly technical audiences and broader markets.

In this role, you will develop the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that communicate the performance and innovation behind Doodle Labs’ mesh networking radios. You will work closely with engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams to transform technical capabilities into customer-focused value propositions and engaging storytelling.

This position combines technical understanding with strong communication and creative thinking to help bring Doodle Labs’ technology to market effectively.

  •  Develop product messaging, positioning, and value propositions that clearly communicate customer benefits

  •  Create and manage marketing content including whitepapers, technical articles, videos, product explainers, and campaign assets
  •  Partner closely with engineering and product teams to convert product specifications into clear market messaging
  •  Enable sales teams with technical collateral including datasheets, presentations, and competitive comparisons
  •  Support marketing campaigns, trade shows, and digital initiatives that highlight Doodle Labs’ technology and differentiators
  •  Help shape the customer experience during product introductions, including packaging, launch materials, and supporting resources
  •  Explore and experiment with new formats and channels to communicate complex technology in engaging ways

What Success Looks Like

  • Successful launch of new products with clear messaging and strong market adoption
  •  High-quality technical content that helps customers understand the value of Doodle Labs technology
  • Strong alignment between product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  •  Effective sales enablement materials supporting customer conversations and technical evaluations
  •  Growing visibility and recognition of Doodle Labs’ innovation across the robotics and autonomy ecosystem

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B technology or hardware companies
  •  Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand networking, wireless systems, or hardware technologies
  •  Experience creating technical marketing content or solution marketing materials
  •  Excellent storytelling and communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
  •  Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging
  •  Organized and strategic, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  •  Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, sales, and marketing

Why Join Doodle Labs

  • Work on cutting-edge technology powering the future of autonomous systems
  •  Collaborate with engineers and innovators building industry-leading connectivity solutions
  •  Help shape how next-generation robotics, autonomy, and wireless technology are communicated to the market
  •  Join a fast-growing company where your work directly influences product launches and customer adoption

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
