Who We Are...

Nutrient is on a mission to evolve how humans interact with and experience documents. Our tools transform static files into intelligent, dynamic, and secure workflows—empowering businesses to innovate faster and smarter. Trusted by thousands of organizations across 80 countries—including Fortune 500 companies, governments and public sector leaders—our products streamline processes, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock new possibilities. Backed by Insight Partners, we've grown from a 40-person team to more than 160 across the globe and continue scaling rapidly.

We’ve built industry-leading document SDKs, cloud APIs, and integrations that are the building blocks for modern applications. Whether you’re embedding viewing, editing, signing, redaction or automation capabilities into web, mobile or desktop apps—our platform makes it possible.

If you’re passionate about building products developers love, working with customers who push the limits of what’s possible, and turning real-world feedback into features that make a difference—this is the place for you.

Your Role at Nutrient...

As a Technical Product Manager for SDK Products, you’ll work closely with our Product Managers, Engineering teams, and customers to help shape the future of our developer-focused tools. You’ll translate customer needs and technical insights into clear, actionable product improvements and help drive execution across teams.

You’ll play a key role in refining ideas, supporting execution, and ensuring that what we build delivers real value to our users. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in product management from a previous technical role, learning how to connect user needs, technology capabilities, and business goals to drive meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Do...
  • Understand Customers: Engage directly with customers — developers, architects, business stakeholders — to understand their use cases, workflows, and pain points.
  • Market & Competitive Research: Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to understand industry trends, benchmark our SDKs against alternatives, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Support Execution: Help ensure product initiatives are delivered on time and with measurable business impact—supporting prioritization decisions, surfacing risks and dependencies, and evaluating scope and effort against expected customer value and return on investment (ROI).
  • Translate Insights into Action: Turn feedback, support tickets, and product usage data into clear requirements and well-scoped improvements.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Engineering and Design to refine requirements, clarify edge cases, and support delivery from ideation to release.
  • Use & Validate the Product: Actively use our SDKs and sample applications to validate functionality, reproduce issues, sanity-check new features, and provide early feedback before and after releases.
  • Enable the Business: Work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to communicate product updates, inform internal enablement materials, and ensure teams are well-informed about our SDK products.
  • Measure & Learn: Track adoption, gather insights, and recommend iterative improvements based on real-world use.
What You'll Bring...
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment with sales led motion.
  • Hands-on engineering experience.
  • Experience with technical or developer-oriented products, SDKs, or APIs is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to translate customer feedback into tangible product features and clear specifications.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to tailor complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling clear understanding across stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through — you help keep projects on track and make progress happen.
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a desire to continuously learn and grow as a product professional.
Who Thrives Here...

At Nutrient, we’re not just hiring for skills — we’re hiring for mindset. The people who thrive here are:

  • Collaborators: You collaborate openly, listen actively, and prioritize team success over ego.
  • Hungry Learners: Rapid learning fuels progress and career growth.
  • Curious Thinkers: You dig deep to uncover the “why,” valuing understanding over simply being right.
  • Self-Starters: You take action without waiting for direction, turning obstacles into opportunities with creativity and persistence.
  • Owners: You take responsibility for solutions and outcomes, always looking for ways to improve what’s within your control.
  • Doers: You’re energized by progress, motivated to create meaningful impact, and eager to tackle challenges.

If you’ve made it this far: give us your argument on which product metric you believe is the most crucial for driving growth—and which one you think is overrated.

Why You'll Love Working Here...

At Nutrient, you’ll be part of an impactful mission, shaping how thousands of global organizations and millions of users handle document workflows. You’ll join a smart, diverse team distributed across the world, where we collaborate to drive innovation and growth—backed by a significant 100M EUR investment from Insight Partners. We believe in a culture of autonomy, giving you the freedom to define strategies, experiment, and deliver results in a high-growth environment. Our culture is centered around continuous growth and collaboration, ensuring every team member has the opportunity to learn, innovate, and drive meaningful change at our company.

We embrace a low-meeting culture and prioritize asynchronous communication to provide flexibility and focus. Working hours overlap with most of the team across the US, Europe, and Asia. If working from the US, you must be located in Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia for payroll processing.

We offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and an annual global retreat to celebrate achievements and foster connections. Past retreats have taken place in locations like Croatia, Spain, and Greece.

Nutrient believes in equal opportunity, and we employ people from many different cultures and countries. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
