As a Product Manager, Vice President in Employee Experience, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will focus on leading and evolving our API ecosystem that powers employee experiences across platforms. In this role you will be responsible for shaping our API strategy, optimizing service performance, and improving the integration landscape to support internal consumers and backend systems.
Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers and maintain a product roadmap and delivery timeline for API capabilities that align with broader employee experience goals
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Partner with internal consumers to intake needs, prioritize use cases, and translate them into actionable product requirement
  • Collaborate with engineering to develop and maintain a scalable API architecture aligned with business and technical goals
  • Design and manage a centralized API services catalog, ensuring discoverability and ease of use
  • Establish and continuously monitor API SLAs; define metrics for performance, uptime, and error rates
  • Drive observability and reporting-define and refine requirements to ensure visibility into API health and usage over time
  • Engage with backend system teams to improve and optimize integrations, ensuring data consistency, performance, and maintainability
  • Drive automation and tooling to improve reliability, reduce operational costs and accelerate software development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Postman (for API testing and documentation), Splunk and Grafana (for observability), and Crashlytics (for error tracking)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, service design, and microservices architecture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
