Core Hours: 9 AM - 1 PM PST / 12 - 4 PM EST

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to help scale and execute our technical operations processes. This role is ideal for someone who’s customer-obsessed, energized by solving technical challenges, and eager to grow their career in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll report to the Manager of Technical Operations and work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.

Our team is looking for someone based in the Pacific time zone to provide coverage to West Coast customers.


What You'll Do

Client Solutions
  • Serve as a technical advisor for customers, helping design and develop complex integration solutions
  • Build strong relationships and troubleshoot customer issues throughout onboarding, launch, and beyond
  • Provide hands-on technical support to ensure successful data flow and integration

Internal Operations & Collaboration

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop specs for new features and integrations
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects that span infrastructure, delivery, and support
  • Automate and optimize internal workflows and technical operations processes
  • Translate business needs into actionable reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate across teams to prepare and deliver data-driven insights
  • Write and debug advanced SQL queries for internal and external reporting
  • Investigate data issues and provide clear recommendations or resolutions
  • Manage automated report generation and distribution

Partner Integrations

  • Lead external partner integration projects, from gathering requirements to coordinating with external engineering teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate partnership opportunities and ensure seamless technical alignment

Education & Enablement

  • Act as a subject matter expert across Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Improve internal and customer-facing documentation to reduce friction and ticket volume
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Ability to turn business needs into functional and scalable solutions
  • Proven experience with relational databases and query engines (e.g., AWS Athena)
  • Advanced SQL skills; ability to write complex queries for analysis and reporting
  • Experience working with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and tools (e.g., S3, Athena, Quicksight)
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, GCP)
  • Strong communication skills—especially in a remote, cross-functional environment
  • Comfortable presenting technical insights to internal teams and external clients
