We are seeking a Technical Lead, WMS( Warehouse Management Systems) for our WMS system. As the Technical Lead, WMS, you will be responsible for managing a team of developers and administrators. You will be making critical technical decisions on the architecture and future of our WMS platform. This includes enhancing the WMS platform to improve productivity and quality in our distribution center operations. You will work with the Operations leadership and other business stakeholders to support a fast-growing business. The right candidate will have the opportunity to create a significant and positive impact on the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the technical lead and future-state driver of the WMS, identifying opportunities to adopt new capabilities, tools, and automation that improve efficiency and reliability.
- Improve software development practices within the WMS team, using AI tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing to streamline delivery and increase code quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of WMS developers and administrators, fostering a high performance, collaborative culture
- Plan and deliver WMS projects, owning technical design decisions and driving forward the product roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and other business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with day-to-day and future operational needs.
- Maintain the technical health and stability of the WMS platform, ensuring it scales effectively as the business grows.
- Define and maintain system performance metrics to support proactive monitoring and optimization .
What you bring to the table:
- Proven track record of leading high-performing technical teams
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with WMS or enterprise systems in fulfillment or distribution environments.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C# and frameworks like .NET, with strong skills in SQL development and optimization. Experience with HighJump/K.Motion, including Advantage Architect and Webwise PageEditor, is preferred.
- Strong project management skills (Agile/Scrum)
- Experience collaborating with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, version control and automated testing
- Experience with AI development tools is a plus
- Expertise in software architecture, API integration, and database design
- Strong communicator with a problem-solving, ownership-driven minds
