Technical Lead - Cloud Services (Azure D365)

The Opportunity 

As a Tech Lead – Cloud Services (Azure D365), you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 infrastructure. You will lead a team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the D365 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, cloud infrastructure management, and a passion for guiding teams to success.  

Responsibilities:   

• Leading the D365 infrastructure team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members 

• Designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for Dynamics 365 applications 

• Managing and optimizing cloud resources on cloud platforms to ensure both cost-efficiency and high performance 

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives 

• Collaborating with infrastructure engineers to guarantee high availability, optimal performance, and robust security of the D365 environment 

• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability and reliability 

• Developing and enforcing best practices for infrastructure management, security, and compliance 

• Preparing and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure setup, processes, and procedures 

Requirements:   

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field; An MSc or relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage 

• Over 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including at least 5 years of working experience with the Azure cloud platform 

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its infrastructure requirements 

• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure 

• A solid understanding of networking, security, and database management 

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals) are a plus 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 

• Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities, and are able to convey risk to all levels of the business, from executives to operations and development teams
