We are looking for a Technical Integration Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting, supporting, and guiding the seamless integration of Fullsteam’s Business Units with our payment platform. Acting as technical liaison within the team, you will address technical queries, maintain comprehensive documentation, and enforce standardized integration practices. This role provides significant growth opportunities by bridging technical integration with project and product management.
This role is 100% remote, with a maximum of three annual trips to Auburn, AL, for in-person relationship building and company events.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical integration of assigned Business Units into Fullsteam's payments platform, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
  • Serve as a key supporting technical point of contact for assigned Business Units, providing expert guidance and resolving complex integration issues.                          
  • Update and refine detailed technical documentation, maintaining the ever-evolving best practices that outline the integration processes, enabling effective troubleshooting by engineers and managers.                                         

Cross Functional Collaboration:             .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize integration workflows and implement best practices.
  • Contribute to project and product management efforts, ensuring integration projects are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with portfolio companies, offering strategic technical recommendations and fostering a collaborative environment.

Data Management:

  • Manage and prioritize the ticketing queue, adhering to internal SLA standards and delivering technically accurate, forward-thinking solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Evaluate integration processes, present finding for areas of improvement and recommending solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience (4+ years) in software/integration can substitute for a degree.
  • Proficiency in REST & SOAP APIs, SQL Server, and Jira’s Service Project.
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry, including Credit Card Ecosystem, Tokenization, Payments Processing, Digital Wallets, PCI-DSS, and more.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum software methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.B.A. is a plus.
