As a Technical Implementation Strategist, you’ll be the driving force behind scaling ClassDojo’s most complex district implementations. You’ll independently design and execute high-impact systems and processes that improve efficiency at scale, while directly supporting district partners through the most technical aspects of ClassDojo rollouts.
You’ll combine deep expertise in SIS integrations and data quality with exceptional communication, documentation, and project management skills. This is a highly cross-functional role that partners closely with Product, Engineering, Success, and Implementation to deliver seamless onboarding experiences for schools and districts nationwide.
Responsibilities:Drive innovation: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to 10x existing systems and develop scalable solutions that anticipate future needs.
Design and scale systems: Create and optimize implementation processes from the ground up to drive efficiency and consistency across large-scale rollouts.
Own technical excellence: Lead end-to-end SIS integrations (API, plug-ins, SFTP, etc.), ensuring data integrity and seamless product setup for districts.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with District Onboarding Managers, District Partnerships Managers, and internal technical leads to ensure flawless execution.
Solve complex data challenges: Review, clean, and validate district data to ensure it meets integration requirements and supports a smooth user experience.
Communicate and document effectively: Maintain clear project documentation, proactively surface risks, and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor and support growth: Contribute to team development by supporting the hiring, onboarding, and training of new technical implementation team members.
6+ years of experience in K–12 SIS integrations (API, plug-ins, SFTP, etc.)
3+ years leading large-scale technical projects and collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams to build and scale processes from scratch
3+ years mentoring or training team members and shaping team operations
Proven expertise in data validation, cleaning, and quality assurance, with foundational SQL experience
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with precision and accountability
Exceptional written and verbal communication and a high degree of empathy in working with district IT leaders
Fast learner with a deep curiosity for technology and process improvement
Experience with tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion
Experience working with EdLink, ClassLink, or Clever
Experience working in Support or Customer Experience

ClassDojo takes a number of factors into consideration when determining compensation, including geographic location, experience, and skillset.
Salary ranges (United States):CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT states: $90,000 - $110,000 (USD)
All other states in the US: $76,500 - $93,500 (USD)
