Support client’s content and SEO strategy by producing high-quality, technically accurate, and engaging content across blog articles, product documentation, and press materials. Profile Overview

Client is seeking a full-time technical fintech writer with deep expertise in payments infrastructure, digital commerce, and financial systems. This writer will work closely with the Head of SEO to execute on content strategy, translating technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

The ideal candidate is both highly technical and stylistically versatile—capable of writing in a polished, Stripe-like format while adapting to the client's younger, energetic, and founder-driven tone.

This role requires someone who can function as a “Swiss Army knife” writer, balancing precision with personality across multiple content formats.

Scope
  • Full-time, ongoing engagement
  • Core focus on blog content, with expansion into documentation and press releases
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including SEO leadership and subject matter experts
  • Execution-focused role with strategy and briefs provided internally
Responsibilities
  • Write long-form, SEO-driven blog content aligned with client’s growth strategy
  • Develop clear, structured product and API documentation
  • Produce press releases and external-facing communications
  • Translate complex fintech and payments concepts into digestible, engaging content
  • Mirror and maintain client’s brand voice across all content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and ensure technical accuracy
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into all written content
  • Iterate based on feedback from leadership and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure writing
  • Strong understanding of concepts such as:
    • Payment processing (pay-ins, payouts)
    • Digital wallets, treasuries, and financial systems
    • Platforms like Stripe, PayPal, or Shopify-style payment ecosystems
  • Experience writing technical documentation and product guides
  • Ability to balance technical depth with clarity and readability
  • Demonstrated ability to match brand voice and tone
  • Strong SEO writing experience
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams
  • Portfolio showcasing both technical and editorial-style content
