Through cross-functional collaboration , we define, develop, document, and deliver repeatable practices, content and enablement that spans the full customer lifecycle. This role supports our Sales Engineer (SE) team by contributing to strategy, development, and execution. It focuses on Zoom’s technical sales enablement programs, which are designed to showcase our innovative product portfolio and platform.

About the Team

Our Technical Enablement team is critical to the success of our customer-facing technical personas. Our SE roles rely on us to provide them with product knowledge across all Zoom’s offerings so they can address the needs of our customers. We define product knowledge proficiencies, demos, certifications - and provide the technical content for individuals to achieve these levels. We seek individuals passionate about sharing knowledge and enabling others to reach their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Being a key member of a growing, dynamic team that enables our global Revenue organizations to do their best work and sell more effectively

  • Being effective at coordinating and delivering on the technical enablement vision. You will collaborate with key technical stakeholders to build Zoom’s market advantage and deliver happiness along the way

  • Understanding Zoom’s buyer and use your storytelling skills to build technical enablement programs that will resonate with the SE organization

  • Leading and take accountability for the development, adoption, and ongoing success of programs, content, and tools that build product knowledge. Ensure these initiatives enhance SE selling skills with a focus on value-based messaging.

  • Cultivating solid positive relationships with key members of Sales, Sales Engineers (SE), Product Marketing and other cross-functional roles.

What we’re looking for

  • Have 5+ years experience in UCaaS/telephony in a sales engineer (SE) role or like experience.

  • Have 5+ years in an enablement (or similar role) .

  • Demonstrate outstanding ability to build and manage relationships and expectations with partners, supporting organizations, and peers. This includes:
    - Having excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills that help lead and deliver projects, programs, and initiatives.
    - Demonstrating the ability to handle ambiguity by effectively coping with change and shifting gears comfortably. Make decisions and take action without having the complete picture while managing risk and uncertainty.

  • Be able to establish repeatable enablement team processes, with defined timing, deliverables, and reporting to drive accountability and measure and correlate impact.

  • Be responsible for all aspects of technical sales onboarding and technical enablement programs that support Global SE audiences. This includes :
    - Supporting product launches by preparing the technical sales force through creation of job aids, coordination and scheduling of presentations and presenters, and curation other launch materials.
    - Owning, coordinating, and deploying compelling technical training and SE skills development. Additionally, lead SE enablement events, such as virtual and in-person workshops and summits. Ensure the SE organization has access to the necessary tools and resources for success.
    - Management/administration of SE technical sandbox environment

  • Be responsible for tracking and analyzing technical enablement programs and content usage through established tools. Gather feedback from the SE team to continuously improve these programs.

  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time
