About the Team
The Cisco Technical Enablement team at Ingram Micro is responsible for supporting partner success across the West Territory. This team serves as a strategic technical resource, helping partners grow their Cisco practices by aligning with Cisco’s go-to-market initiatives and delivering high-impact enablement services. The role contributes directly to Ingram Micro’s broader mission of accelerating partner growth through technical expertise and strategic engagement.

Role Overview
This field-based role focuses on enabling and expanding Cisco partner capabilities throughout the West Territory. The Specialist will work closely with development executives and account managers to implement Cisco strategies, deliver technical training, and support partner business planning. The position requires regular travel to partner sites and a strong ability to build trust and drive adoption of Cisco programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and account executives to align on Cisco go-to-market strategies and drive partner growth
  • Travel to partner locations to develop business plans, set growth targets, and strengthen relationships
  • Build and deliver technical trainings and proof-of-concept sessions focused on Cisco solutions
  • Promote and support adoption of the Cisco 360 Partner Program, including DPV access and utilization
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them scale their Cisco practices through strategic and technical guidance

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Executive presence and professionalism in partner-facing engagements
  • Leadership capabilities, especially in guiding partner growth initiatives
  • Technical background in networking and security

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in partner engagement, enablement, or technical sales
  • Proven success in building and scaling partner relationships
  • Experience in field-based roles with direct partner interaction and travel

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are beneficial but not required
  • Willingness to pursue certifications such as Cisco Black Belt Training in the future

Location and Travel Requirements
This is a field-based role supporting partners across the West Coast. Candidates located near California or Arizona office hubs are preferred. Regular travel to partner sites is expected.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,600.00 - $196,500.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
