Your Role
Gensler LA is seeking an experienced intermediate Technical Designer. Your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with a focus on project delivery and an understanding how to produce functionally beautiful designs. You will drive delivery of a project, collaborate with office and regional technical leaders and develop delivery and process improvement strategy. With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging.
What You Will Do

Work with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production

Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions

Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and assist in construction drawings
-
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
-
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
-
Professional B.A or M.A. degree in architecture or related field
-
6 – 8 years of related project experience; preferably sports projects

Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Suite, and Sketchup

Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas

Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, a plus

Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development

Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly

A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills

*The base salary will be estimated between $80,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
