About Onebrief

Onebrief is collaboration and AI-powered workflow software designed specifically for military staffs. By transforming this work, Onebrief makes the staff as a whole superhuman - meaning faster, smarter, and more efficient.

We take ownership, seek excellence, and play to win with the seriousness and camaraderie of an Olympic team. Onebrief operates as an all-remote company, though many of our employees work alongside our customers at military commands around the world.

Founded in 2019 by a group of experienced planners, today, Onebrief’s team spans veterans from all forces and global organizations, and technologists from leading-edge software companies. We’ve raised $123m+ from top-tier investors, including Battery Ventures, General Catalyst, Insight Partners, and Human Capital, and today, Onebrief is valued at $1.1B. With this continued growth, Onebrief is able to make an impact where it matters most.

About The Role

Onebrief is hiring a Technical Delivery Manager, APAC to deliver secure, scalable deployments across the Indo-Pacific region.

You’ll be accountable for APAC deployment outcomes; you’ll partner with a Deployment Strategist and an Enterprise Solutions Architect and report to the Technical Solutions Manager, who oversees global deployment and delivery.

The role combines technical fluency with delivery leadership and is well-suited for individuals with experience managing complex, infrastructure-heavy implementations in classified environments.

Location:

This role is ideally based in Oahu, HI, with some flexibility for candidates located in off island, with understanding that not being located in Hawaii may require more frequent travel.

If you're not located in or near Oahu, HI but are willing to relocate there Onebrief will provide relocation assistance.

Security Clearance:

Active TS required, SCI eligibility is a plus.

What You'll Do

As a Technical Delivery Manager you will

Drive execution for classified deployments by aligning teams, unblocking issues, and keeping delivery on track

Lead deployments

Own delivery timelines and execution plans across the Indo-Pacific region. You will coordinate between government stakeholders and Onebrief cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure that we are compliant with RMF, NIST, and other standards necessary to deploy onto classified systems.

Coordination and Collaboration

Represent Onebrief in technical forums and keep a single source of truth for decisions, owners, and dates. Partner with cybersecurity and DoD ISSMs to align controls and testing; flag accreditation-impacting changes early and escalate crisply when decisions are needed.

Engage external stakeholders

Own the APAC stakeholder map and set a steady communication rhythm. Keep scope, risks, and decisions aligned with no surprises; capture field feedback and convert it into deployment priorities with the right internal teams.

Resolve risks and blockers

Maintain a visible risk log with owners and dates; map network and enclave dependencies and secure approvals early. When blockers surface, escalate via the agreed path with concrete options, verify fixes in-environment, and close the loop.

QualificationsRequired
  • 4+ years of technical project or program leadership, ideally leading projects with teams of software engineers.

  • Experience managing complex software projects at an enterprise software company or startup.

  • Familiar with the complexities of deploying software to the classified networks of the U.S. Department of Defense and international partners and allied forces.

  • Experience in a cross-functional collaboration and communication; able to drive technical execution with engineers and communicate clearly with non-technical audiences.

  • You must hold a current Top-Secret Clearance, with SCI eligibility

Preferred
  • Experience with infrastructure-heavy or compliance-constrained implementations

  • Skilled in balancing urgency, sustainability, and operational rigor across complex projects

  • Familiar with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows, and observability tools. Not as a hands-on engineer, but with enough depth to track delivery dependencies and risks

  • Understanding of delivery workflows in secure, air-gapped, or classified environments

  • Bonus: exposure to security compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, SCIF, ATO)

  • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experienced in remote and asynchronous coordination

  • Known for strong follow-through and reliable execution under pressure

Why Join Onebrief?

Onebrief is a purpose-built operational planning platform designed to accelerate military decision-making. We replace legacy workflows with secure, real-time collaboration tools that are currently deployed on SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS.

As Technical Delivery Manager, you will lead deployments in classified environments where clarity, reliability, and speed directly impact operational readiness.

Onebrief is post–product-market fit, profitable, and trusted by staffs across COCOMs and the Joint Staff. We’re growing intentionally, with a focus on high-quality delivery, secure implementation, and long-term mission impact.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
