As a Tech Artist 2, you’ll work closely with artists, designers, and engineers to execute on project goals by supporting visual content integration, improving workflows, and troubleshooting technical challenges. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and adept at balancing creative and technical needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and execute daily art and tech tasks.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining tools and scripts to streamline asset creation and implementation in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Ensure consistent visual quality across devices by adapting content for mobile and AR platforms.
  • Troubleshoot asset and performance issues and work with senior staff to implement solutions.
  • Follow best practices for content optimization and contribute to improving visual fidelity and performance.
  • Maintain clear documentation and report status regularly to leads and production.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and experience with mobile or AR development workflows.
  • Working knowledge of shader creation, rigging, and Blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of 3D asset pipelines and performance constraints on mobile/AR devices.
  • Basic scripting ability (Blueprint, Python, or similar) for tools or automation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; able to take direction and work independently within a larger structure.
