Responsibilities
- Perform technical reviews on customer AWS environments across all pillars of the AWS well architected framework
- Meet with customers regularly to understand operational needs and share personalized recommendations for AWS environment improvements
- Work with internal Mission teams to act as an advocate for the customer and ensure an excellent customer experience
- Utilize Cloud Management Platforms to give customers visibility into AWS spend and align spend with goals and budget
- Conduct regular ticket reviews with Mission Cloud customers
- Educate customers on current and new technologies and services, including Mission Cloud and AWS offerings
- Communicate how specific Mission and AWS products, services and solutions including our product roadmap align to customer use cases and service gaps
- Be an escalation point for the Customer Engagement support engineers
- Hold regular governance sessions with customers
- Provide support to Billing for customer questions; give insight into specific line items that appear on Mission invoices
- Stay educated on cloud infrastructure and operations trends and best practices; including the AWS Well-Architected framework
Requirements
- 5+ experience in a cloud engineering / customer support role or devops engineering role
- Experience in a technical account management, InfraOps or customer-facing role
- Experience with customer relationship management, especially c-level or senior leadership
- Technical expertise in cloud computing (AWS preferred), with a strong understanding of relevant technologies, architectures, and best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for driving customer success and delivering value
- Ability to anticipate customer needs, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans to address them
- AWS Associate Certification
