PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $152,300.00-$186,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As a Tech Business Operations Partner, you’ll be the strategic engine behind our technology division’s success. You’ll drive operational excellence, support high-impact initiatives like mortgage transformation, and foster a culture of recognition and collaboration. Your work will empower leaders to focus on execution while you manage the rhythm of business, financial tracking, and cross-functional engagement. You’ll bring clarity to complex data and ensure alignment with BECU’s goals. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with divisional leaders to execute organizational strategies and optimize business routines that support technology initiatives.
- Operational Rhythm Management: Own the cadence of business reviews, communications, and engagement activities to keep the team aligned and energized.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use Power BI and other reporting tools to analyze data, track goals, and provide actionable recommendations that drive performance.
- Executive Storytelling: Create compelling presentations and business cases that translate complex ideas into clear, impactful narratives.
- Financial Oversight: Partner with Finance to manage spend, forecast budgets, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Org Chart & Resource Management: Maintain real-time updates of organizational charts and contracts to support transparency and planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across teams, proactively engage stakeholders, and reduce tactical overhead for directors.
- Celebration & Recognition: Identify wins, package success stories, and promote a culture of appreciation and achievement.
- Special Projects Leadership: Lead strategic initiatives like the Mortgage Transformation Project, ensuring horizontal support and strategic oversight.
- A strategic seat at the table supporting four technology directors and shaping divisional operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or related field, or equivalent work/educational experience.
- 10 years of experience in executive office functions, chief of staff roles, business operations, or program/project management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with executive storytelling and data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to work in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
- Advanced degree.
- Experience in tech operations or agile environments.
- Mortgage domain experience.
- Background in financial institutions or fintech.
- Familiarity with service delivery roles in banking.
- Ability to identify and celebrate wins.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic mindset with proactive ownership.
