Position Summary: 
Supervise and provide day-to-day leadership to a team of technicians and engineers to ensure safe, efficient and consistent execution of production activities within a high-mix, low volume semiconductor fabrication laboratory.  Coordinate daily priorities, monitor workflow and WIP, support team members, and work closely with cross-functional organizations to resolve issues and meet production and delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts.
•    Plan and prioritize daily work assignments based on workload, WIP, production schedules, and business priorities.
•    Monitor workflow, cycle time, productivity, and on-time delivery.
•    Ensure employees follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
•    Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
•    Monitor and manage WIP, HOLD lots, and other issues that may impact cycle time or delivery.
•    Ensure accurate completion of training records, timecards, documentation, and other required administrative tasks.
•    Communicate shift updates, priorities, and critical issues to management and other shifts.
•    Support staffing, overtime, and workload planning to meet business program requirements.

Required Qualifications: 
•    2+ years in people management or mentorship experience is preferred
•    5+ years of nanofabrication process engineering experience with expertise in one of the basic process engineering disciplines such as lithography, etch, deposition, etc.
•    Software skills – Microsoft Office Suite:  Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
•    Familiarity with SPC, and data automation systems in a semiconductor processing context or other production environment
•    Strong communication skills; ability to write and maintain comprehensive, readable documentation
•    Working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as MES is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
•    Must be able to work safely in laboratory settings including Class 10 (ISO-4) cleanroom laboratory

Special Requirements: 
•    U.S. citizenship required.
•    Must be able to work flexible hours

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $105,700  - $132,200
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location (California). The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
