Kentro is seeking an experienced Team Lead-Advanced Analytics to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. The Team Lead-Advanced Analytics in the Operations Triage Group must have experience managing Information Technology Analytics-related projects. Must be well versed in analytics life cycle and project management methodologies. Must have the ability to understand and communicate executive requests effectively. Must be able to expertly decipher requests from the CIO, SES and other leaders within the context of executive OIT priorities and requirements and translate those into effective deliverables for the client. Must have experience in tracking budget, costs, schedules, and performance progress of analytics requests and development efforts ranging from ad-hoc data requests to standard reporting. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

Analytics & Advance Analytics: 

  • Lead Advanced Analytics efforts within the Operations Triage Group to perform big data transformation and drive actionable insights through data-driven decisions.
  • Innovate and automate through advanced analytics and automation techniques to enable end-to-end data transformations and reporting aligned to the Project and agency mission objectives.
  • Experience in test & release automation from non-production environments to Production using CI/CD, DevSecOps, etc. preferred.
  • Well-versed with project mythologies & frameworks like Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall and can tailor the approach based on project requirements.
  • Drive all assigned tasks through completion and adhere to schedules, budgets, and scopes.
  • Conduct regular formal reviews with the Project Manager
  • Develop and maintain plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and schedules.
  • Monitor and be responsible for milestones, identify potential schedule risks and issues, and manage cost, resources, and technical challenges.
  • Notify the Project Manager of any critical issues and develop mitigating plans.
  • Lead the development of analytics standards and procedures with the team.
  • Manage approved changes, track work performance metrics, and take corrective actions.
  • Be the primary Point of Contact (POC) for Advanced Analytics throughout the analytics lifecycle, providing status updates to Project Manager detailing objectives achieved, metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with Agency, Project Manager, and ESOM Business Operations Team members to provide a holistic picture of ESOM Business Operations, including but not limited to:
  • Collaborate on metrics and ways of working improvement with other analytic groups within the contract and across the VA.
  • Engage effectively with OTG leadership, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), senior OIT leadership, system owners, monitoring groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer support through regular communication, feedback collection, and promoting solutions and alternatives to the client.

Location: This position can be performed in a remote setting within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or related scientific / technical discipline. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
  • 10 years of relevant data analytics experience.
  • Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and /or Hybrid) and stakeholder management (e.g., Weekly Progress reports, Workplan).
  • Experience translating ambiguous requests from senior leadership into audience appropriate products that demonstrate value.
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations.
  • Expertise in managing high-pressure situations, crafting messaging during crises, and mitigating communication risks.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams to coordinate efforts and ensure deliverables are clear, action-oriented, and informative.
  • Self-motivated to direct projects, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery.

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting a federal client. 
  • Section 508 conformance experience or knowledge.
  • Active PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent Certification.

Clearance:

  • Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance. 
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder.
