OVERVIEW:

Technology Development Program 2026

The Technology Development Program exists to embed the highest-potential talent into DSG and power our path to being the most advanced retail technology company in the world. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your strong potential to a set of challenging problems and build your career.

This 18-month rotation program provides a robust in-person orientation, followed by 3 core rotations (each 5-months in length) and 1 flex rotation (3-months in length) which are fully remote. The program experience is dependent on the discipline and placement is based on open roles and participant interest.

Engineering:

Data Focus – solve problems in Athlete 360 & Personalization; Product & Inventory; Media Networks; IoT & Retail; Visual Analytics. Gain experience with Business Analytics; AI/ML Engineering, Azure & GCP; Data Pipelines, ETL, FiveTran; Snowflake, Big Query; PowerBI, Qlik, Looker.

Software Focus – solve problems in Marketing Technology; Digital eCommerce; Global Supply Chain; Merchandising Technology; Retail Technology. Gain experience with Product Design & Creation; Microservices; Mobile and Web Development; Backend Development; Reactive UI.

Foundational Focus – solve problems in Edge & Cloud Native Computing; Systems Automation; Chaos/Reliability Engineering; Core & Edge Networking; Cyber Security. Gain experience with Kubernetes, Functions, Harbor, Terraform, Ansible; Wifi, Core Router, Cloud VPC; Azure and GCP; Prometheus, Spinnaker, Grafana.

Requirements

  • Exposure to modern programming languages
  • Experience or understanding of modern cloud environments and tools
  • Experience with Agile Development and knowledge on Agile Deployment tools and versioning using Git or similar tools
  • Participation in Boot Camps and/or Capstone Engagements
  • A major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Sciences and Technology or related experience (including boot camp graduate)

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Product Management, Business, Computer Science, Social Science (Product Management); Human- Centered Design, Social Science (Product Design); or other tech-related fields
  • Ability to balance business objectives and customer need
  • A foundational understanding of Product Management or Human- Centered Design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various peer groups
  • Customer-centric view into developing great product experiences

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field study

  • 1-3 years experience

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
