About the Company Azuki Labs is the company behind the Azuki universe, an original IP crafted through world-class art, storytelling, and community. Unlike traditional studios, we develop both the story and a trading card game (TCG) internally, allowing every mechanic, character, and system to feel intentional and interconnected. This role is foundational in shaping the marketing and launch plans of the Azuki TCG.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a versatile and hands-on Marketing Manager to join the Azuki Trading Card Game (TCG) team. This person will help define and execute marketing strategies that grow brand awareness, drive engagement, and build community around our TCG products. You’ll be a key player on a small, nimble team and comfortable wearing many hats, collaborating across creative, product, and commercial teams.

You should have experience and knowledge of TCGs and deep expertise in social media marketing, complemented by experience in all facets of marketing campaigns to be able to flex across disciplines including PR, content, influencer, and experiential marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and experiential touchpoints, from product launches to tournament activations.

  • Lead Social Media Strategy & Execution, developing and managing social media campaigns across key channels (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, etc.) to grow engagement and fan loyalty around our TCG.

  • Content Planning & Production Partnering with creative teams to ideate, brief, and produce high-impact content from social posts to videos, newsletters, and live event coverage.

  • Support campaigns with PR initiatives by coordinating with agency partners and internal teams to drive earned media coverage, manage announcements, and craft narratives that strengthen visibility.

  • Work with internal paid media expert to plan and execute paid media campaigns (social, digital, influencer, and experiential), manage budgets, and analyze performance to optimize ROI and reach.

  • Build relationships with creators, influencers, and TCG community leaders to expand reach and authenticity.

  • Track performance metrics across channels, analyze campaign results, and translate learnings into actionable optimizations.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally within TCG, entertainment, gaming, or consumer brands.

  • Passion for TCGs, collectibles, anime, or gaming culture with experience as a TCG player strongly preffered

  • Strong understanding of digital culture, gaming communities, and creator ecosystems.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, hands-on, resourceful, and collaborative.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Google Analytics, native platform insights).
