Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Manager to lead IFRS tax provisioning and oversee global transfer pricing strategies. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent cross-functional collaboration, and an ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity international environment. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate tax reporting, optimizing tax positions, and maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
IFRS Tax Provisioning
  • Prepare and review global tax provisions in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12) and applicable guidance.
  • Reconcile temporary and permanent differences across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure accurate recognition of current and deferred tax assets and liabilities.
Transfer Pricing
  • Design and manage intercompany pricing policies that comply with OECD guidelines and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare global transfer pricing documentation and support audits or inquiries.
  • Coordinate with regional controllers to ensure consistency and compliance.
Tax Reporting & Compliance
  • Lead the preparation and review of direct tax filings globally.
  • Oversee local tax compliance while aligning with IFRS reporting standards.
Strategic Tax Planning
  • Support cross-border transaction planning, entity restructuring, and process improvement projects.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.
Audit & Stakeholder Support
  • Liaise with external auditors and local tax authorities on tax disclosures, reconciliations, and provision reviews.
  • Deliver timely, well-supported responses to audit and statutory inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with finance, legal, and business leaders across all regions to align tax strategy with operational goals.
  • Support ERP and process automation initiatives impacting tax and financial reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CTA, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate tax roles, ideally within multinational companies or Big Four firms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IFRS tax provisioning (IAS 12) and global transfer pricing.
  • Solid understanding of international tax compliance frameworks and cross-border tax issues.
  • Strong systems exposure (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle), and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Multilingual capability and international work experience a plus.
  • Global  tax provision model a plus
