Job Responsibilities 

• Preparation of tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns

• Conduct basic tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date tax knowledge

• Communicate with the team to ensure all relevant information is collected or addressed while managing competing priorities

• Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements 

• Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline 

• Minimum of 1 year experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting

• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications 

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation  

• CPA or equivalent credential  

• Experience with a wide variety of entity types

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position: $71,300-$98,900. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
