Staff Accountant - International Tax
Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 pm EST
Location: Remote -United States
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated tax professional to join our team and support U.S. international tax compliance and reporting. This role involves preparing key tax forms (including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118), supporting U.S. corporate tax filings, and assisting with the analysis of international tax provisions such as GILTI, FDII, and Subpart F income. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of U.S. international tax concepts, and excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a great opportunity to grow within a collaborative and dynamic corporate tax environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated tax professional to join our team and support U.S. international tax compliance and reporting. This role involves preparing key tax forms (including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118), supporting U.S. corporate tax filings, and assisting with the analysis of international tax provisions such as GILTI, FDII, and Subpart F income. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of U.S. international tax concepts, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Some of the things you will be doing :
- Assist in the preparation of U.S. international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and related disclosures
- Prepare workpapers and support schedules for Form 1120
- Reconcile book to tax difference and support tax provision calculations
- Help gather and analyze data for GILTI, FDII, Sub F income and foreign tax credit calculations.
- Maintain accurate records of foreign entity structures and ownership for reporting
- Collaborate with legal and accounting teams to gather and analyze financial data for foreign subsidiaries
- Conduct basic tax research and summarize findings on U.S. International tax issues.
- Stay current on changes in U.S. tax law that impact C Corporations and International operations.
- Assist with IRS notices and respond to information requests.
- Support process improvements and technology initiatives within the tax function
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master's in taxation or CPA a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in tax, preferably in public accounting or a corporate tax department with international focus.
- Working knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
