As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Partnership Relations and Events Specialist to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

The Talent Partnership Relations and Events Specialist supports Salute's early-career talent pipeline by building and nurturing long-term partnerships with colleges, universities, student organizations, and other institutions that connect talent to open positions at Salute. This role plans, coordinates, and executes on-campus and virtual recruiting events, manages the logistics behind those events, and tracks hiring metrics for each event and partnership to measure return on investment. The role sits in the Talent team and works closely with TA, hiring managers, university career centers, and other internal / external stakeholders to build a consistent, high-quality candidate pipeline.

Work Environment: Remote with 25-40% travel, including seasonal peaks (typically late summer through fall) and occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture ongoing relationships with target colleges, universities, career services offices, student clubs, and other organizations to support early-career or veteran transition hiring efforts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools, maintaining regular communication and acting as the face of Salute's employer brand on campus visits.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate recruiting events, including career fairs, information sessions, campus interviews, employer panels, and virtual recruiting events.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics: registration, scheduling, staffing (recruiters and hiring managers), venue and room coordination, and day-of execution.
  • Locate, order, and manage inventory of marketing and event materials (banners, swag, signage, brochures, giveaways) and coordinate shipping and delivery to event sites, ensuring materials arrive on time and within budget.
  • Travel to events and career fairs as needed to represent Salute, oversee event setup/teardown, and support the on-site recruiting team.
  • Track and report success metrics for each event and partnership, including attendance, applications, interviews, offers, hires made, and cost-per-hire, to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update a shared calendar and tracker of all campus events, partnership touchpoints, and key university contacts.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align event strategy with open requisitions and hiring plans.
  • Support employer branding efforts by coordinating social media content, event photography, and campus marketing materials with the Marketing team.
  • Manage event budgets, process invoices, and reconcile expenses related to travel, materials, and event sponsorships alongside leadership.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and evaluate the performance of existing partnerships to inform where to expand or scale back investment.
  • Support other Talent initiatives and projects as needed, including internship program coordination and general recruiting operations support.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of experience in recruiting, early careers, university relations, event planning, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with early careers or veteran transition programs, military affiliated organizations, preferred. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly (approximately 25–40%), including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak recruiting seasons.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and partnerships simultaneously against fixed deadlines.
  • Comfort analyzing and reporting on data; experience tracking recruiting or event metrics (e.g., ATS data, spreadsheets, dashboards) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Salute professionally to students, faculty, and career services staff.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport event materials as needed; ability to lift and carry event supplies (up to approximately 30 lbs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and event management or CRM tools is a plus.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and comfort working independently while on the road.
Working Conditions

This role splits time between standard office work and on-site event travel. During peak recruiting seasons (typically late summer through fall, and again in early spring), travel and event frequency increase and may include weekend or evening commitments. Reliable transportation is required for local travel to shipping/receiving locations and event venues.
