About the Opportunity

The DOTA Talent Partner at Driscoll’s plays a crucial role in enhancing company performance by collaborating closely with Driscoll’s of Americas (DOTA) business leaders, HR Business Advisor (HRBA), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to establish and implement a forward-looking talent strategy.
The DOTA Business Unit encompasses operations in four countries: the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Peru. Collectively, these regions employ approximately four thousand individuals who are dedicated to supporting and advancing the organization’s business objectives.
This position will spearhead the DOTA talent agenda by gathering and analyzing internal and external talent data, identifying gaps, and supporting the company’s mid- and long-term strategies. The Talent Partner contributes both strategically and operationally, helping cultivate an agile and innovative culture that meets the needs of a dynamic, multi-country business unit.
By partnering with HR and business leaders across DOTA, this role will help identify emerging leaders and high-potential talent, utilizing diverse talent management tools and processes to guide their development and career progression, strengthening the company’s succession plan.
The Talent Partner will also serve as an enterprise lead for a global initiative or process within the Global Talent Center of Expertise (CoE), developing deep subject matter expertise to drive consistency and impact across markets.
This position will be based in Watsonville, California. Domestic and international travel is a requirement and can equate to up to 30%.

 Responsibilities

Talent Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and drive a proactive DOTA talent strategy aligned with enterprise goals.

  • Partner with HRBPs/HRBAs to translate business needs into talent priorities and actions.

  • Maintain accurate talent data to support reviews, planning, and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with CoEs, HRBA and HRBPs to develop strategies to reinforce and sustain our culture within DOTA.

Talent Identification, Reviews & Succession

  • Facilitate DOTA talent review sessions and ensure clear follow-up actions.

  • Map critical roles and success profiles across the region.

  • Strengthen succession pipelines and partner with leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent.

Talent Development, Mobility & Engagement

  • Promote internal mobility and support career pathways across DOTA.

  • Partner with L&D and HRBPs to deploy talent programs and targeted development initiatives.

  • Analyze engagement survey insights and support action planning with DOTA leadership.

  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles across all talent processes.

Data, Insights & Leadership Consultation

  • Synthesize regional talent insights and connect them to business strategies.

  • Provide strategic talent consultation to DOTA senior leadership.

  • Support executive-level talent review preparation and analysis.

  • Consult on DOTA People Strategy, being a thoughtful partner for HRBA and business leaders in the definition and implementation of People Priorities within DOTA.

Global Program Ownership

  • Lead a global talent initiative within the Global Talent CoE, serving as the enterprise owner for a process, framework, or program (e.g., succession planning, competency and assessment frameworks, performance management, talent reviews).

    Candidate Profile

Required Skills

  • Strong talent and HR acumen, including experience with talent and succession discussions and building talent strategies.
  • Ability to understand organizational structures, job frameworks, compensation practices, and HR processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams, levels, and geographies.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations and helping scale programs or processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose organizational issues and translate data into insights and actions.
  • Strong facilitation skills, executive presence, and project management capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-changing, dynamic environment with high expectations for agility and responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, or a related HR role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent HR experience.
  • Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred (given support for Latin America).
  • Availability for domestic and international travel (~30% of time)

Compensation & Benefits: 

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.  

Salary Range estimated for Talent Partner, DOTA:$110,000 to $164,000 USD.
