Job Overview Summary  

As a Talent Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the talent acquisition landscape for senior and specialized roles within our organization. By utilizing advanced sourcing strategies and leveraging your extensive industry knowledge, you will drive recruitment efforts, mentor team members, lead projects, and collaborate with leadership to align our hiring practices with strategic objectives. Your contributions will be pivotal in positioning our organization for sustained growth and success. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Leading and strategizing complex recruitment campaigns focused on senior and specialized positions, aligning with organizational goals. 
  • Shaping and influencing the overall recruitment strategy, contributing to the company's talent acquisition direction. 
  • Owning business and stakeholder relationships (you're the go-to and trusted advisor), providing strategic guidance and coaching in close partnership with hiring managers, and their teams. 
  • Developing innovative and targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates, utilizing your deep industry knowledge. 
  • Building talent networks in the life sciences industry, tapping knowledgeable industry sources to develop an on-going list of evergreen candidates. 
  • Overseeing the candidate assessment process, ensuring it is aligned with strategic objectives and maintaining a high standard of evaluation. 
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, providing support, guidance, and knowledge sharing to foster their professional growth. 
  • Managing recruitment projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. 
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS). 
  • Providing thought leadership and insights on industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies. 
  • Driving collaboration and effective communication across all organizational levels, enhancing stakeholder relationships. 

Location  

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the US, preference for CST or EST time zones. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience, which includes comprehensive sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting. 
  • 5+ years of experience advising and influencing senior leaders, including Sr Director and Executive-level stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn), coupled with expertise in advanced interview techniques. 
  • Experience with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience recruiting in the life science and/or clinical research industry, preferably Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/Auditing.
  • Experience working with consultant and contractor talent. 
  • Demonstrate a strong leadership track record, including formal project leadership and mentorship of junior team members.  
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all lines of business. 
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics.

  • Display a strategic mindset, critical thinking abilities, and creative problem-solving skills within the realm of recruitment and HR. 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of legal and compliance aspects related to recruitment, ensuring adherence to regulations. 
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills in recruitment matters. 
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly desirable.  

Physical and Mental Requirements 

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation 
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.  
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions 
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities 
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $71,955.00 to $125,109.00. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
