Job Description: Influencer Marketing Brand Partnerships Negotiator + Talent Manager

This is a sales role with a base salary plus earned commission.

Talent Agents work hand-in-hand with corporate clients and influencers to pitch and finalize campaigns. The role requires someone who has an internal drive to get deals done, a strong conviction, and is willing to take the initiative to pick up new skills regularly. This is not a repetitive position and will require you to adapt.

Our ideal candidate needs to get excited about making deals and thrives under pressure. Must be a positive, creative, and dedicated hard worker who can balance many tasks in a fast-paced environment. You should have an in-depth understanding of social media marketing, brand partnerships, talent management, talent representation, contract negotiations, and an existing network of social media influencers.

We have a constant supply of high-quality leads, so it will be your objective to turn those leads into closed accounts and ongoing profitable relationships. We work on short timetables to keep creators and brands happy making it crucial to stay on top of many things simultaneously.

If a candidate wants to exceed our expectations, they will obsess about over-delivering for the brands and creators they are responsible for. The ultimate goal is for this person to build and develop significant relationships with a selection of creators and corporate clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Fielding inbound and outbound leads and converting them into business for the firm

  • Building rapport with clients through ongoing and frequent communication

  • Scouting potential clients for the firm through social channels

  • Build new brand and creator relationships for the agency

  • Stay on top of trends in the influencer marketing space

  • Present and assist with the execution of growth strategies for influencers

Responsibilities:

  • Create opportunities for brand partnerships within the digital marketplace to educate and sell content and talent capabilities

  • Communicate the unique value proposition of our clients to brands and agencies through meetings, presentations, and marketing materials

  • Build and strategize on how to package opportunities inclusive of Talent, Distribution, Data, Promotion/Marketing, ROI/Measurement

  • Utilize strong prospecting skills to source new partnership opportunities for clients

  • Conduct initial outreach to prospective brand partners, track communications, and handle follow-ups

  • Collaborate with management teams on creative partnership ideas, development of pitch decks, and partnership activations

Qualifications:

  • Nice to have: 3+ years experience in talent management/talent representation of Social Media Influencers

  • Nice to have: 2+ years of experience professionally managing brand partnerships and in talent management (preferably at an agency).

  • Have a personal interest in influencers in the finance, business, education, personal development, etc. sectors
