Role Summary:
We’re seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and mentor a recruiting team while driving individual recruiting pipelines. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building world-class hiring processes. You’ll partner cross-functionally to solve immediate challenges and build a scalable recruiting function that supports our long-term growth.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Coach: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters. Serve as a player-coach—leading by example while supporting individual growth and team performance.
Recruitment: Drive full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions and levels, partnering with hiring managers and senior leadership to recruit high impact talent.
Operational Excellence: Audit and refine recruiting processes to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire. Lead strategic initiatives that support a best-in-class TA function.
Scale for Growth: Forecast future hiring needs and design recruiting plans that align with company objectives as we scale.
Creative Sourcing: Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to engage top talent in a competitive market.
Candidate Experience: Own and improve the candidate journey, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values and builds trust.
Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate closely with People Ops, and functional leaders to ensure alignment, transparency, and impact.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or people management role.
Proven experience as a player-coach, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
Experience working at and scaling within a startup or high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success leading complex recruiting initiatives, improving processes, and forecasting for scale.
Strong expertise in sourcing strategy and pipeline development for hard-to-fill roles.
Passion for building strong candidate experiences and a deep understanding of modern TA best practices.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available to be onsite at least 3 days per week.
Experience implementing or optimizing ATS platforms.
