About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Business Analyst will help the Recruiting team make data-informed decisions and improve the systems, processes, and reporting that support hiring at Motive. You will own analytical projects, translate recruiting data into actionable insights, and identify scalable ways to improve operational efficiency, visibility, and stakeholder experience. This work will lead with AI, using emerging tools and intelligent automation to improve recruiting insights, workflows, and decision-making. You will report into the Senior Manager, Recruiting Operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, and recurring business reviews, leading with AI.
  • Analyze recruiting funnel, pipeline, capacity, and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements for process, reporting, and system enhancements.
  • Establish data quality checks, documentation, and governance practices across recruiting systems.
  • Independently manage cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and measurement.
  • Present findings and recommendations to Recruiting leaders and key business partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, people analytics, business analysis, or a related function.
  • AI-Native experience is required, including hands-on use of AI tools to improve analysis, automate workflows, and solve business problems.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and recruiting data. Experience with Greenhouse and Workday is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret trends, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience building reports or dashboards using spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver against deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
