Job Description SummaryThe T408 Projects and Proposal Manager is accountable for the overall management of assigned projects in support of the T408 engine which powers the CH-53K heavy lift helicopter, with the primary focus on completion/award of production engine proposals. You will build strong customer relationships and manage complex issues by leading a matrixed GE Aerospace organization to meet these business and customer goals. This position also coordinates closely with the other members of the T408 program management team to ensure alignment in support of both functional objectives (safety, reliability, performance, delivery) and business objectives (cost, margin, cash). In this role, you will provide leadership across the GE Aerospace matrix to meet customer and business needs. You will manage complex issues, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business and product strategy. You will look for opportunities to create and improve processes that support these goals.

Role Overview:

In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead the T408 Projects and Proposal Management team. Your primary focus will be on completing and securing production engine proposals, driving critical business outcomes. Your leadership will ensure alignment between functional and business objectives.

  • Provide strategy and leadership for the proposal team to secure on-time contract awards.
  • Manage assigned projects, implementing action plans to achieve deliverables.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers such as the US Navy, USMC, DCMA, and international clients.
  • Coordinate and present progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Manufacturing, and more to achieve program outcomes.
  • Contribute to critical internal business processes including Program Control Board and proposal gate process.

The Ideal Candidate:

A proactive leader with strong program management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to effectively interface with both internal teams and customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in engineering and program management roles.
  • Significant experience with U.S. Government contracting/proposals and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program management.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.

  • Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America).
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
  • Screening Requirements: Background and drug screening.
