Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Anduril’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) team is focused on organizing and reporting on all of Anduril’s products through their respective development. T&E is pursuing a Data & Operations team focused on combining our internal data analytics with operational processes and business systems to make insights prompt, accurate, and actionable. As a Data Operations Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders and drive partnerships across all of Anduril to improve decision making, accelerate analysis, and optimize outcomes. Your work will directly increase the velocity of the organization by becoming an expert on our most critical workflows such as staffing and resources, test processes, telemetry analysis and visualization, product and/or test initiative performance, and operational sustainment.
We’re looking for analysts and builders who are seeking a role at the intersection of high impact and high collaboration across organizations and systems. Ideally you are passionate about the next generation of defense technology and are looking to become a technical expert in all of Anduril’s products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the user-focused development of our internal analytics dashboards and data driven applications to surge real-time awareness and forecasts for our Test and disciplined engineering staff.

  • Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in helping them run their organizations more effectively
  • Automate the aggregation of metrics and detection of widespread trends or issues across the fleet
  • Build and maintain a catalog of data and tools to enable analysis of metrics across the fleet such as operational performance analysis, historical trend analysis, root cause analysis, and predictive analysis. Onboard engineering and operational teams to these tools to democratize support of production systems
  • Apply performance baseline as a rubric for all new operational deployments and update site installation processes to measure success in this manner
  • Lead technical investigations about operational issues and performance trends. Contribute to root cause analysis within engineering, supply chain, training, or elsewhere in the business

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in a consultative analyst role - consulting or data analytics, or strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
  • You have experience building and leading a high-performing team.
  • Proven success with new products/programs within aviation or aerospace related industries.
  • You are motivated by our mission. We are working to solve the biggest problems in defense
  • You thrive in cross-functional projects that have a heavy combination of technical requirements and user-focused workflows

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
