Position Summary: #LI-AG1

We are seeking an experienced Systems Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT solutions. This role is crucial to the success of our technology projects, ensuring that our IT infrastructure, applications, and systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will also work closely with the IT team, providing mentorship, training, and leadership to strengthen technical capabilities across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & IT Operations
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable IT systems, infrastructure, and cloud-based solutions that meet business objectives
• Define and oversee systems integration to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms and applications
• Ensure that high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices are embedded in all architectural solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that drive efficiency and business value
• Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments, ensuring timely execution and quality standards

Project Success & Leadership

• Work closely with project managers, development teams, and IT leadership to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions
• Define project scope, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure system performance monitoring, proactively identifying areas for improvement and optimization
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles

IT Team Collaboration, Training & Mentorship

• Collaborate with IT teams to define strategies, policies, and procedures for IT operations and systems architecture
• Coach and mentor system administrators, engineers, and junior architects to enhance their technical expertise and problem-solving skills
• Provide training sessions and hands-on workshops to strengthen the team’s ability to manage and troubleshoot enterprise systems

Security, Compliance & Vendor Management
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate, select, and implement IT systems and technologies.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements to ensure effective delivery of services and solutions

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong technical expertise in network protocols, server technologies, storage systems, virtualization, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex system issues, performance tuning, and implementing security best practices.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, IT operations, system integration, and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of change management, release management, and incident/problem management methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, and infrastructure management
• 5-7 years of experience as a Linux or Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer in an enterprise data center environment
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, ITIL, PMP preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL are desirable

Work Conditions & Special Requirements:

• Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, late nights, and holidays when necessary.
• Provide 24x7 support as needed for critical systems and operations.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $144,000 and $171,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
