We are looking for a high energy technically savvy IT professional who can be the face to the customer for our F35 training system enterprise.
This position will work together with employees from multiple companies, in support of F-35 training at Eglin AFB, Florida's Academic Training Center(ATC) and across the training enterprise. Additionally, they will work closely with the Tier 1 foreign partners, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO), as well as all US and non-US customers.
The role will provide direct customer support for theF-35 Training System Support Center (TSSC) Integrated Product Support Team (IPST). It will provide Training Infrastructure Systems (TIS) engineering expertise to the TSSC Lightning Learning Environment - Classified (LLE-C) and Lightning Learning Environment - Unclassified (LLE-U).
More specifically, this position will be the central point of contact for F-35 enterprise training facilities who have system discrepancies. It will interact with system administrators across the enterprise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to define problems, conduct research, and analyze criteria related to various engineering fields. The position will integrate training system software updates into the TIS and will triage Training System Problems to prioritize work based on system impacts.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related Experience OR an Associate's Degree and 4+ years of related experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of related experience.
Possess or ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Candidate must be willing to support a flexible work schedule to align with international customer operations schedule. Some customers may be located in the APAC or EMEA regions.
Candidate must have a current CompTIA Security+ certification or able to acquire a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire date.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert technical topics into a digestible format for customers when needed.
Strong customer service skills with experience supporting technical users as a Tier 3 enterprise support point for disconnected (Air-Gapped) systems.
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Experience with MS Office applications.
Familiarity with risk management, process-oriented development, and collaborative system engineering (JIRA).
3+ Years of professional experience related to the implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of enterprise level hardware and software systems.
Experience with the full stack of Windows Server and Client technologies to include, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, Group Policy, AD CS, File Servers, and other associated technologies.
Experience with the VMware vSphere Suite, to include ESXi, VCSA, NSX, and Horizon.
Experience with HPE Comware or similar enterprise networking platforms.
Experience with HPE 3par or similar SAN products.
Experience with networking technologies like VLANs, IRFs, Layer 3 Switching, and SDN.
Strong Experience with Microsoft PowerShell
Strong Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
Willing to travel for short durations on short notice if required.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929
