We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced system networks. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to optimize network configurations and ensure peak performance in mission-critical environments. You will play a key role in solving emerging national security challenges by developing and maintaining secure, resilient systems that support critical operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and coordinate the installation and acceptance testing of system networks.

  • Monitor network hardware operations to ensure proper configuration settings.

  • Plan and implement network enhancements and upgrades.

  • Perform cost/benefit analysis of network configurations and recommend enhancements.

  • Direct acquisition, installation, and testing of network hardware.

  • Advise network users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues.

  • Provide supervision and direction to support staff as needed.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Experience with network security protocols and best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
     

Location & Travel:

  • Must be local to the Washington, DC area as on-site work is required.
     

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active/Current Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI and polygraph eligible holders are highly encouraged to apply.
