Systems Engineer (Mid-Level)- Hybrid (Partial Remote)

Designs and maintains hardware/software systems across the system lifecycle. Develops software requirements specifications, defines system architectures and interfaces, performs MBSE in Cameo, supports formal qualification testing, and participates in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR. The role also produces engineering artifacts and supports requirements, architecture, interface, and test documentation.

Location: Seal Beach, CA/Hybrid (Partial Remote)
Duration: Full time
Requirements:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- 10 or more years of experience.
- Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Cameo experience (or at least the willingness to learn).
- Experience with development and maintenance of SW Requirements Spec (SRS).
- Experience with systems design for HW/SW systems; ability to develop system level design flows/threads informing the SW requirements/design.
- Experience with interface definition between multiple SW systems and between HW and SW.
- Experience supporting SW Formal Qual Test (FQT).
- Participate in technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and prepare associated engineering artifacts.
- Develop and maintain Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) throughout the system lifecycle.
- Define and document interfaces between multiple software systems and between hardware and software components.
- Perform model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler to capture requirements, architecture, and interfaces.
- Support Software Formal Qualification Test (FQT) planning, execution, and documentation.
